Guido Piccoli, transport economist graduated from the University of Trieste, founding partner and managing director of ALOT S.r.l. (Brescia), is an international mobility expert, with over 30 years of experience in freight transport, logistics and port operations. Complementary to transport issues, he has been working for the past 15 years in the fields of digital transition and alternative fuels, with extensive experience in electric mobility and more recently hydrogen. Piccoli supports private operators in the development of business models (cost benefit analysis included) or public administrations in the merging of mobility planning, energy and spatial planning, from the strategic assessment to the development of action plans and roadmaps for sustainable mobility, including dissemination of shared mobility solutions.
Piccoli has over 20 years of experience in the development and management, reporting and communication of EU and national/regional projects: over 65 projects for public institutions and private entities, for a total of over 285 million budget in various topics (besides mobility and freight & passenger transport, digital transition & digital healthcare, energy, environment, green infrastructure & ecosystem services, tourism, culture, social innovation).

The lesson will be structured in 4 sections: overview of European priorities; description of methodology from assessment of challenges to project management; examples of good and bad practices; exercise with the participants to put the theory into practice.
